Gurudatta Caterers

We operate Gurudatta Caterers out of the Shivshankar Sabhagruh in Mukund Nagar. It is a well-known spot on the Pune Satara Road, quite close to the Swargate bus stand. This location stays very busy because of all the traffic coming through Swargate. We have been doing this for a long time now. Most of our work happens in the kitchen areas of the hall, prepping for different gatherings. It is a lot of heavy lifting and big pots. You will usually see us moving crates of vegetables or stacks of plates around the back entrance. Being in Mukund Nagar is convenient for us. We know the local suppliers and where to get what we need. It is not a quiet job. There is always the sound of knives on cutting boards or water running. We do not put on airs about what we do. We just cook food for people and make sure there is enough for everyone. Some weekends are completely packed and we barely have time to sit down. Other days we are just doing inventory and cleaning up the equipment. It is a lot of standing on your feet all day. We have seen many events come and after a while, you just get used to the pace. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure everything goes as planned. It is honest work and it keeps us going every single day of the week.
