We’ve got our office in Flat 107 of the Mangalmurti Complex, right there in Shukrawar Peth on Tilak Road. It’s a central part of Pune, so it's always crowded and full of life. Running Gsmr Pharmaceuticals from a flat means things are pretty informal. We have desks set up where there used to be a living area. It’s a bit cramped when we get a big shipment in, but we find space. Most of our time is spent on the phone or working on the computer. We aren't a big chain or anything like that. We’re just local people trying to run a pharmaceutical business. The tea stall downstairs is where we usually end up for our breaks. Dealing with the paperwork for the government and the suppliers is a big part of the job. It can be tedious but someone has to do it. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. You just walk in and see us working. It’s a practical way to do business without spending too much on overhead. We’ve been here for a bit and we like the rhythm of Tilak Road. It’s busy, it’s loud, and it’s where we do our thing. We just keep moving forward. The flat is old but it stays cool in the summer.
