Grocela Retail Private Limited

Grocela Retail is situated right at Shop 1, 953 Nana Peth, over at the Padmjee Corner. If you know Pune at all, you know that Nana Peth is one of the most crowded and busiest spots you can find in the whole city. There is always a lot of noise from the rickshaws and people shouting to be heard over the traffic. We are right on the corner, so we get to see everything that happens on the street from our front door. The shop itself is not massive, but we use every single inch of the walls for storing our stock. It gets quite hot in the summer months because the sun hits the front of the building directly for several hours. We have a small table fan that does not do much, but we have gotten used to the heat over the years. Most of our day is spent talking to the suppliers who pull up on their motorbikes or in small tempos. We have been at this address for a long time now, and while the building is old, it is very sturdy. We do not have a corporate office or a big boardroom to meet in. Our main office is just a small wooden desk tucked in the back where we keep the old ledger books. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the retail side of the business. Sometimes the heavy traffic outside makes it hard to hear what the customers are asking for, but we make do.
