Greenpalace Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited

We’re based in Nagapur, which is over in the Ambegaon area of Pune. Our address is H No 276, but you can usually find us just by asking around the village. We are a group of farmers who decided to start our own company. It was a lot of paperwork to get started, and none of us really liked that part. We’d much rather be working the land. But we needed a way to get our produce out to more people. The office is pretty basic, just a place to keep the files and have a seat when the sun gets too hot. We grow a bit of everything depending on the season. It’s a lot of coordinating between the different members. Some days it feels like we’re spending more time on the phone than on the tractor. We try to keep things simple. We don't use big words or try to act like we’re from the city. We’re just regular folks from Nagapur. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the weather lately, so we’ve had to adapt. It’s not always easy, but having the company helps us share the risk. People around here are hardworking and we try to look out for each other. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make a decent living off the land we’ve always known for years.
