Grahanakshatra Jyotish

We operate Grahanakshatra Jyotish out of Sadashiv Peth Pradhikaran, at number 537. It’s a very traditional part of the city, and we feel right at home here. People around here value the old ways, and that’s what we provide. We spend our days calculating positions of stars and looking at how they align with people’s lives. It’s quiet work for the most part. Our office is simple, with just enough room for us and a couple of visitors. We don't have any flashy signs or anything like that. Most people find us because someone they know told them to come here. We see all sorts of people, from young students worried about exams to older folks asking about their children’s marriages. It’s interesting work because you never know who is going to walk through the door next. We have stacks of old almanacs and papers everywhere. Sometimes we spend hours just checking and rechecking our calculations to make sure they are right. The atmosphere in Sadashiv Peth is quite distinct, and we like the rhythm of the neighborhood. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't; we just provide astrological guidance based on what we’ve studied for years. It’s a service for the community, and we take it seriously even if the office is a bit old-fashioned and small. It’s just how we do things here.
