Goraksh Prakash Batteries

Our shop, Goraksh Prakash Batteries, is located in Katraj, right at number 5. It is a busy spot near the main road. We have got batteries stacked up along the walls, mostly for cars and bikes. It is a bit of a small space, so things can feel a little crowded when we have a lot of stock coming in. There is usually a bit of a smell of lead and acid, which you get used to after a couple of days. We do not have a fancy waiting area. Most people just stand near the counter while we check their stuff. The floor is often a bit scuffed from moving the heavy units around. Katraj is a lively area, so there is always something happening outside the door. We have a small bench for people to sit if they are waiting for a charge. It is mostly just us and the tools we use every day. We have been here at this location for a good while. The signage is a bit faded from the sun, but people seem to find us alright. It is an honest way to make a living. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening rush is over. No big corporate rules here, just a local shop doing what it does. There is an old stool in the corner where the cat sometimes sits. We have a radio that usually plays some old songs.
