Gopi Pan Shop

Over at Laxmi Road 163, near Sonya Maruti in Hadapsar, that’s where Gopi Pan Shop is. It’s a busy part of town, especially with all the shoppers on Laxmi Road. We’ve been at this spot for a good long time. It’s a small shop, maybe even a bit cramped if you aren't used to it. We have jars and packets everywhere. It’s just how we organize things at Gopi Pan Shop. People are always rushing past, but some stop in for a quick minute. We see all kinds of people here. Some are in a hurry, others want to chat for a bit about whatever is happening in Hadapsar. We listen more than we talk usually. The area around Sonya Maruti is always full of energy. Sometimes it’s a bit much, but we like being in the middle of it all. Our shop at 163 isn't anything you’d see in a magazine. It’s just a regular place with a counter and a stool. We keep the floor swept and the shelves full. It’s a simple way to make a living. We don't use any fancy equipment. Just our hands and a bit of patience. If you’re walking down Laxmi Road and get near the Sonya Maruti temple, you’ll likely spot us. We’re just a small part of the street, doing what we’ve always done. It’s not complicated, and we like it that way, even on the long days when the heat is heavy.
