Good Shepherd Farm & Training Center

If you head down Ganeshskhind near the Pune University Road and look for khapatiya chakla 114, you’ll find our place. Good Shepherd Farm & Training Center is a bit of a mix. We have the farm side of things where there is always something needing to be fed, cleaned, or moved. Then we have the training part where people come to learn how things actually work on the ground. It’s not a clean, polished campus. There is usually some mud on the floor and the smell of animals or feed in the air. We don’t have a big marketing budget, so most of the people who come here heard about us from someone else in the farming community. The training we do is very hands-on. We don't spend much time sitting in chairs looking at screens. It’s more about getting your hands dirty and understanding the animals and the land. The university road is always noisy with traffic, but once you get inside our gates, it feels a bit different. We have a few staff members who live nearby and they really know their stuff. We don't put on any acts for visitors. What you see is exactly how we operate every single day. We are just trying to keep the farm running and pass on some useful skills to anyone who is interested. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we know.
