Golden Glass & Aluminium

Our shop is located in Chinchwadagaon just off that busy Hal Airport Road. If you know the area you know how much traffic passes by every single day. We spend most of our time dealing with sheets of glass and aluminium bars. It is tricky work because glass breaks if you are not careful. We have to carry it slowly from the truck to the back of the shop. There is always some project going on usually a window frame or maybe some glass partitions for a small office nearby. We keep the floor as clean as we can but there are always little bits of metal shavings everywhere. The guys here have been doing this for a long time. They know how to use the cutters without making too much of a mess. Sometimes a customer comes in with a request for a specific type of frosted glass and we have to see if the supplier has it. We do not use computers much just notebooks and measuring tapes. It is a loud place because of the road and the machines. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things moving. We have seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years with more buildings going up. It keeps us busy enough. We just focus on getting the measurements right so things fit where they are supposed to. It is just a regular local business trying to get the daily tasks done.
