Dhanlaxmi Glass & Aluminium

Our shop is tucked away in Dhorenagar near Kemps Corner. It is a small space but we fit a lot into it. Dhanlaxmi Glass & Aluminium has been sitting here for a good bit of time now. We deal with all sorts of glass pieces and aluminium sections. The street outside can get quite narrow, so getting the big glass sheets inside without breaking them is always a bit of a nervous moment for us. Inside, it is mostly just racks for the metal and tables for cutting. We don't have fancy lights or a receptionist. You just walk in and talk to whoever is holding the glass cutter or the measuring tape. Most of our days are spent measuring twice and cutting once. It is a lot of standing on your feet. The floors are concrete and usually have some scraps of rubber or metal lying around. We try to keep things organized, but when you are busy, the mess just happens. People from around Dhorenagar know where to find us if they need something fixed or a new frame for a door. We don't do much talking, mostly just focused on the task. It is a simple life running a local shop like this. We appreciate the regulars who come back when they have a new project. It is just us working hard every day to keep the business going in this corner of the city. We keep the shop open six days a week.
