Gold Star Equipments

You can find our shop at 1367, Sadashiv Peth, right in the Orchid Complex. We are at Shop No. 4, just across from L.D. Bhave in the Natubaug area. It’s a crowded part of town, so there is always something happening outside. Gold Star Equipments is where we keep all kinds of kitchen gear for businesses. We have big ovens, heavy mixers, and stainless steel counters squeezed into the space. It’s a bit tight when customers come in to look at the larger items. We spend a lot of time cleaning the stainless steel so it doesn't get fingerprints all over it. The work is mostly about helping people find the right size for their small cafes or big restaurants. We don't have a lot of fluff here. It’s just the equipment and us. I usually have a notepad where I scribble down dimensions and prices. It’s not high-tech, but it works for us. Sometimes we have to move the heavy stuff around to show someone a piece in the back. That’s a workout. We’ve been in Sadashiv Peth for a good while, so we know most of the shop owners around here. It’s a nice community. We just open up in the morning, sweep the front, and wait for the first person to walk in. It's a simple, honest way to run a business.
