Gokhale Hospital

We are located at 27/4 in the Divyadarshan Complex. Most people know us because we are right behind the Kothrud Bus Stand. It’s a busy spot with buses coming and going all day long. You can always hear the engines and the conductors shouting from the back. Gokhale Hospital has been in this complex for quite some time now. The building is older, but it serves its purpose. We have several rooms for patients and a small area where we keep our files. It isn't a modern glass building like the ones you see in the city center. It’s more of a practical space. We get a lot of people who are traveling through the bus stand and suddenly feel unwell. Then there are the locals from Kothrud who have been coming to us for years. The staff here is a small group. We do everything from answering the phones to helping people to their rooms. It gets hectic around noon. We don't have a fancy coffee machine or a big waiting hall. People usually just sit on the plastic chairs and wait. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many people walking through, it’s a constant task. Our day ends when the last patient is taken care of. It's just a local hospital doing what it can in a busy part of town right in the middle of everything.
