Gokhale & Company is tucked away over in Erandwane at the CV Tank area, specifically at number 129/5. It’s an older part of the city and we kind of like that about it. The streets are a bit narrow and parking can be a real headache if you don’t know where to go. Our building isn't anything modern, just a solid old structure that has been here for years. Inside, it smells a bit like old paper and tea. We spend most of our time at our desks, just working through the daily tasks. It isn't a place with a lot of flash or fancy decorations. We have some wooden chairs for visitors and a big table where we spread out everything we are working on. The fan overhead makes a little clicking sound, but you get used to it after a few days. Erandwane has a lot of history and we feel like we fit right into the neighborhood. People stop by to chat sometimes, or we see the same faces walking past every morning. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy stuff about us. We are just a group of people doing our jobs in a part of town we know well. It’s practical and it works for us. If things get busy, we just stay a bit later. If it’s slow, we might leave early. It’s a simple way of working. There is a small plant on the windowsill.
