Ghorpade Hospital

We've been here at the Shivaji Chowk area for quite a long time now. If you head down Kharadi Road, you’ll see our building right where the traffic usually gets a bit heavy near the intersection. It isn't a fancy place with shiny glass walls or anything, but it works for what we do every day. Most of the folks who walk through our doors are from the neighborhood or just passing through the busy chowk. The waiting room gets crowded pretty fast, especially in the mornings when the sun is hitting the front entrance. We try to keep things moving, though sometimes the paperwork takes longer than we'd like. Our staff consists of people who live nearby, so we know most of the faces that come in for checkups. It's a bit noisy outside with the buses and rickshaws constantly honking, but once you get inside, it’s mostly just the sound of people talking and the occasional cart rolling down the hall. We spend a lot of time cleaning floors and making sure the lights are working. It’s just a regular hospital trying to handle the daily rush of patients. Sometimes we run out of chairs in the lobby, and people just lean against the walls while they wait their turn. It’s a busy spot, and we are usually on our feet from the moment we open until the night shift takes over. We just keep doing what we do here on Kharadi Road.
