Getwell Hospital

The hospital is right near the bus stand in Manchar, specifically at G n 169/12b 13. Being near the bus stand means it is always noisy outside, but it also makes it easy for people from the villages to find us. We get a lot of people coming in right off the bus. I’ve worked here at Getwell Hospital for a few years, and the routine is pretty much the same every day. We open up early, check the supplies, and see who is waiting. The building itself is just a standard structure. It isn't anything special to look at, but it does the job. Some of the chairs in the lobby are a bit old, and we’ve been talking about replacing them, but there’s always something else more urgent to fix, like the plumbing or the lighting. Our team is small. We have a few doctors and the support staff who live nearby. We usually share lunch in the small back room if things aren't too hectic. Manchar is a decent place to work, and being in this part of town means we are close to everything. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements because people mostly know we are here. They just walk over from the station or get dropped off by a rickshaw. It’s just a practical, local hospital where we do our work and go home to our families at the end of the day.
