General Stores has been around in Yerwada for a long time. Our address is 1933, and it’s a place that most locals recognize just by passing by. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything like that. It’s just a plain shop filled with the usual stuff you’d expect to find in a neighborhood store. Life here in Yerwada is busy, and our shop reflects that. People are always in a hurry, stopping by to grab a quick snack or some household items on their way home. We try to keep things simple. There’s no big team of people, just us handling the counter and the stock. Sometimes we run out of things faster than we expect, and other times some items just sit on the shelf for a while. That’s just the way it goes. The shop is tucked into the local area and it feels like home to us. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but the basic need for a local shop stays the same. Whether it's matches, eggs, or just some cleaning supplies, we try to keep it all here. The space is a bit cramped because we try to fit so much in, but it works for what we need.
