Gem Technology

Gem Technology is set up in the Pentagon building, specifically in offices 321 and 322. It’s right on Shahu College Road in the Parvati area of Pune. Being in a building with a name like that sounds more impressive than it is. Mostly, it’s just a couple of rooms where we handle tech stuff and answer emails. The elevator in this building can be a bit slow on Monday mornings when everyone is trying to get to their floors. We have some computers set up and a small area where we keep our files. It’s usually quiet inside unless we’re trying to fix a problem that’s being stubborn. Parvati is a decent area to work in, though parking can be a headache if you don’t get here early enough. We’ve been here long enough that we know which tea stall nearby is the best. The office doesn’t have much decoration, just the basics like chairs and desks. We spend a lot of our time looking at code or hardware, depending on what the day brings. It’s a job like any other. We like the fact that we’re close to the college because there’s always some energy in the air. We don’t put on any acts here. We just come in, do the technical tasks, and then lock up for the night. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do. It gets the job done and we go home.
