Geeta Agency is tucked away in Budhwar Peth at Tapkir Galli 503. If you know the area, you know how crowded these lanes can get. It’s a maze of shops and we are right in the thick of it. Our office is small and usually filled with the sound of fans and people talking. We deal with a lot of distribution work. Most of our day is spent on the phone or writing out lists of orders. Space is at a premium here at 503, so every corner is filled with something. We’ve been operating in Tapkir Galli for a long time and we know all the other shopkeepers nearby. It’s a tight-knit community even if it’s a bit chaotic. We don't have a showroom or anything fancy. It's just a place where the work happens. The stairs are a bit steep and the building is old, but it serves its purpose. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep our energy up. Sometimes shipments get delayed because the trucks can’t get through the narrow streets, and we just have to wait. It’s just part of being in this part of town. We are just regular people doing our jobs and trying to keep everything organized. There’s no big secret to how we work, we just show up and do it every single morning without fail.
