You can find us at Shop 10 on the 3rd Main Road in Kothrud. It’s not a very big space, so things can get a bit tight when we have a few people waiting for their orders. We’ve got the stove going most of the day, so it stays pretty warm in here. Usually, it's just the sound of the pans and the chatter from the street coming in through the door. We spend a lot of time chopping vegetables and getting everything ready before the lunch rush hits. The floor gets a bit greasy sometimes, so we're always scrubbing at it when we have a spare minute. We’ve been in this spot for a while and have gotten to know the people who live and work nearby. They stop in for a quick bite and we usually have a word or two about the weather or the traffic. We don’t have fancy menus or anything like that. Everything is written on a board, and we just make what’s available that day. Sometimes we run out of bread or certain spices, and we just have to let people know. It’s a simple operation. We wash the dishes in the back and keep the counters as clear as we can. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and dealing with the heat from the burners, but it’s what we do every day.
