Ganesh Super Market

We have been running Ganesh Super Market for quite some time now over in Chikhlee. Our shop is located at number 357, right next to the Natraj Chat Corner, which makes it easy for people to find us. Being near the chat stall means it gets very lively and noisy in the evenings, but we don’t mind the buzz. We carry all the basic household groceries, plenty of snacks, and things like detergents or light bulbs. The shop isn't very large, so we have to use every bit of space we have, even stacking boxes near the ceiling sometimes. My brother and I take turns managing the counter and talking to the customers. On the weekends, it can get pretty crowded, and the aisles feel a bit narrow when everyone is shopping at once. We don't bother with any big fancy promotions or corporate style service. We just provide what the local people need for their kitchens. Sometimes the ceiling fan rattles a bit, but it does its job of keeping the place cool enough. If a bag of sugar happens to tear, we just tape it up and use it for our own tea at home. It’s a simple way of life and we enjoy being part of the Chikhlee community. We just focus on keeping our stock fresh and making sure everyone who comes in leaves with what they were looking for without any trouble at all.
