Ganesh Pan Shop

Ganesh Pan Shop is our business. We are right by the Vadgaon Sheri Government Colony. It is a very specific kind of place to have a shop. A lot of the people who live inside the colony come by every single day of the week. We know all their names and exactly what they like to buy. The shop is a bit old now. The wood on the main counter is worn down in the spots where people lean on it while they wait. Vadgaon Sheri is a very busy part of the city, but being near the Government Colony makes it feel a bit more like a quiet neighborhood. We have the usual variety of pans and we also keep some cigarettes and matches. I keep everything organized in my own special way. If someone else tries to come in and help me, they can never find anything they are looking for. The morning time is usually very quiet, with just a few people stopping on their way to work. The evening is when the business really picks up for us. Everyone comes out of their houses to walk around and talk. I stay open late because that is when people want to stop by the most. My chair is a bit broken and wobbly but it still works fine for me. I listen to the radio while I work. It is a simple life.
