I’ve been doing this work here in Pune for quite some time now. Most people around the 10th Main in the 3rd Block know where to find me. It’s a quiet area mostly, and I usually spend my days handling various rituals or ceremonies people ask for. I started out learning the traditions from my elders, and it just became what I do every day. Sometimes the schedule gets a bit busy, especially during the festival months, so I have to keep track of everything in a small diary. It’s not a fancy setup. I just have my space where I prepare for the pujas. People come by to talk about dates or ask what materials they need to bring along for a ceremony. I try to be clear about how things work so there isn't any confusion later on. Some days involve a lot of traveling around the neighborhood to different homes, while other days are spent right here. I don't have a big team or anything, it’s just me doing the work. If you walk past the 3rd Block, you'll see where I operate. It’s been my life for years, and I’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit while I stayed in the same spot. It’s honest work, and I appreciate the folks who have kept coming back to me year after year for their family events. I don't use much technology, just the basics to stay in touch.
