Gandhi Hospital

Gandhi Hospital is situated out in Koregaon Bhima, which falls under the Shirur area. It is a place where things move a bit slower than in the big city, but we still stay quite busy with the local residents. Most people around here are either farming or working in the nearby industries. They come to us when they are not feeling well or need something looked at. The building is simple and sits right where people expect it to be. We do not have any big slogans or flashy billboards on the main road. If you live in Shirur, you probably already know where we are located. The road outside can get a bit dusty when the big trucks go by, but inside we keep things as tidy as possible. We see families, old folks, and kids throughout the day. The staff mostly lives nearby, so everyone usually knows everyone else. It makes for a friendly atmosphere, even when it gets a bit hectic in the afternoons. We handle the basic health stuff that comes up for the local population. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait, especially on market days when everyone is in town. We just keep working through the list of patients one by one. There is nothing fancy about our setup. It is a functional space meant to serve the community in Koregaon Bhima. (238 words)
