We are based in Flat No 105 of the Gera Foliage building, right in the heart of Viman Nagar in Pune. It’s a pretty nice area to be in, with plenty of trees and cafes around the corner, though the traffic on the main road can be a bit of a headache during rush hour. Galaxy IT Services Pvt Ltd isn't your typical massive tech campus with bean bags and free soda. We are a smaller team working out of an apartment-style office, which actually makes it feel a bit more relaxed and comfortable. There are usually about five or six of us with our heads down, staring at monitors and trying to figure out some code or a server issue. You can hear the hum of the air conditioner and the occasional sound of someone's phone vibrating on a wooden desk. We have a small kitchen area where we make our own coffee, and the smell of it usually fills the room by mid-morning. The balcony looks out over the street, and it’s a good place to stand for five minutes when your eyes get tired of the screen. We don't have any big signs or corporate branding on the walls; it’s mostly just whiteboards covered in scribbles and diagrams that only make sense to us. It’s a quiet, productive little space where we get the technical work done without much outside distraction. Pune weather is usually decent, so we keep the windows open when we can to let in some fresh air.
