Gajanan Watch Mobile

Gajanan Watch Mobile is right at More Vidhalaya Chowk in Kothrud, Pune. This intersection is usually full of traffic and people going to the school nearby. Our shop is small, but we pack a lot into it. We have one side for watches and the other for mobile phones. It’s funny how people still need watch batteries changed even though they have phones in their pockets all day. We do a lot of that—swapping out batteries, fixing straps, and trying to get old mechanical watches to tick again. On the mobile side, it's mostly cracked screens and charging ports that don't work anymore. Kothrud is a busy part of Pune, so we get people stopping by on their way home or during their lunch break. The shop can get quite cramped when there are more than two customers inside. We have tools scattered all over the workbench because there is always a phone half-disassembled. We don’t have a fancy website or a big sign. The name on the board and our spot at the Chowk is how people find us. Sometimes we can fix a phone in twenty minutes, and other times we have to tell the customer to come back tomorrow. It’s just how the work goes. We’ve been here at 411038 for a bit and we like being part of the Kothrud community.
