If you’re looking for G S M Cellulars, we’re located right in Sainathnagar. It’s a residential neighborhood, so we know most of our customers by name. The shop is just a small room on the ground floor. We spend most of our time sitting behind the counter waiting for the next person to walk in. Some days it’s very busy with everyone needing their phones fixed or looking for a new SIM card. Other days, we just sit and watch the people walking by on the street. We have a couple of glass cases filled with various chargers and basic phones. It’s not a high-end store, just a practical place for the people living nearby. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, and the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking noise, but it works fine. We usually have the local news running on a small TV in the corner. Sainathnagar is a quiet enough place compared to the main city, which is nice. We get a lot of elderly people coming in who need help with their smartphones because they can't figure out the settings. We spend a lot of time explaining how to use apps or how to save contacts. It’s part of the job, I guess. We close up around nine in the evening when the streets start getting empty. It’s a steady life and we’re happy to be part of the community here. There is always something to do even when it seems quiet.
