Our place, Frostam Pumps (India) Pvt. Ltd., is tucked away in the J-340 block of the M.I.D.C. Industrial Area in Bhosari. It’s a big industrial zone, so there is always a lot of noise and trucks moving around outside. We’ve been set up here for some time now, focusing on pumps and how they work. The floor is usually filled with castings and different parts waiting to be put together. It’s not a quiet job, but we like it that way. We aren't really into big presentations or corporate meetings. Most of our time is spent actually looking at the equipment or dealing with technical drawings that are pinned up on the walls. Being in Bhosari means we’re surrounded by other workshops, so we fit right in. Sometimes the weather gets really hot in the shed, but we just keep the fans going and stay on schedule. We have a crew that’s been doing this for years. They know the sounds of the machines better than anything else. We handle all the assembly and testing right here on site. If you come by, you’ll see crates being packed and ready to go out. It’s a straightforward operation where we just focus on making sure the pumps do what they’re supposed to do. No fluff, just plenty of hard work and metal. We enjoy the routine of it and the fact that we can see what we've built at the end of every single shift.
