Frindz Mobile

The shop is tucked away in the Viman Nagar GIDC Industrial Estate. We call it Frindz Mobile. It’s not a large place, just enough room for a couple of workbenches and a glass counter where we show the screen protectors and cases. Being in GIDC means we get a lot of workers coming in during their lunch breaks with cracked screens or phones that won't charge. We do a lot of soldering and tiny screw work. It’s hard on the eyes after a few hours, but we’re used to it. The industrial estate can be pretty noisy with all the manufacturing going on nearby, but inside the shop, we try to keep it focused. Sometimes we can't fix a phone because the parts aren't available, and we have to tell the customer the bad news. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the one over the door. People usually find us because we’ve been here a while and we don't overcharge for simple stuff. We keep some old phones in the back for parts, which comes in handy more often than you’d think. Viman Nagar is a busy part of town, and we’re glad to have a steady spot here. It’s mostly just us working with our screwdrivers and heat guns, trying to bring dead phones back to life. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just wait for the next person to walk in.
