Food World

Food World is our little spot in Krishna Nagar, over in the Mohammadwadi area of Hadapsar. We are located at Sr.No.56/8. It’s a busy place because people always need their food supplies. We spend most of our time dealing with the vendors and making sure everything coming in is fresh. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters by any means. It’s more of a local operation where we know the faces of the people who come in. The area of Mohammadwadi has grown so much lately, with new apartments going up everywhere you look. We are right in the thick of all that growth. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with the delivery trucks arriving and the customers coming by all at the same time. We don't have any polished marketing slogans or a fancy logo on everything. We just try to keep the shelves stocked and the orders going out on time for everyone. The staff here are all locals from around Pune 28. We have our own way of doing things, which might look a little bit messy to an outsider, but it works perfectly for us. We’ve been in Krishna Nagar for a while now and we really like the vibe of the neighborhood. It’s a lot of work, staying on top of the inventory every day, but it keeps us busy. We don't do big meetings. We just talk over the counter or while we’re moving the crates around.
