Food Court

This place is located on Baner Road, near the P Dmello Road area. It is a big space with lots of different counters. People come here when they can’t decide what they want to eat. You hear a lot of noise, mostly from the chairs scraping on the floor and the various kitchens banging their pans. We spend a lot of time wiping down the plastic tables because people leave their trays behind. It gets very humid when all the stoves are going at the same time. The floor is mostly tile, so it’s easy to mop, which we do several times a day. We see office workers during the lunch hour and families later in the evening. There is a mix of smells, like fried stuff and some spicy sauces. It’s not a fancy setup. We have those overhead lights that stay on until late at night. Sometimes the trash cans fill up faster than we can empty them. It’s a loud place, especially on the weekends. We have to keep an eye on the water coolers to make sure they aren’t empty. People usually just eat and go, they don't stay to talk much. It’s a practical spot for a quick meal. The location is convenient for anyone traveling through the Carnac Bunder area. We just keep the stalls running and make sure there’s enough seating for everyone who walks in.
