Flavours

Flavours is located out in Kharadi, specifically on N I B M Road 15. If you know the area, you know it's gotten a lot busier over the last few years. We’re tucked into our space here and most days start pretty early with us getting the kitchen ready. There’s always boxes being moved around or someone cleaning the floors before the first customers show up. It’s not a very big operation, just a handful of us trying to keep things moving. The street outside can get quite jammed with cars, especially during the evening, but inside it’s usually just the sound of the fans and the stove going. We spend a lot of time just checking the stock and making sure we have enough of everything for the day. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and dealing with whatever comes up, like a leaky tap or a bulb that needs changing. People from the nearby apartments stop by quite often. We don't really do anything complicated. We just focus on the food and making sure the place is decent when people walk in. Kharadi is a good spot for us because there’s a lot of life around here. We’ve been at this address for a while and it feels like home now, even with the noise from the road and the constant bustle of the neighborhood.
