Faasos

Our small spot is tucked into Madhusadan Apartment on Kelkar Road. Being in Narayan Peth means things are always moving. It’s an old area of Pune, so the streets are narrow and usually filled with scooters and people walking to the local markets. We are right by the Narayan Peth Police Chowki, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us. At Faasos, we spend most of our time getting orders ready for people in the neighborhood. The morning starts with getting everything set up in the kitchen. It can get a bit cramped in here when we have a lot of stuff going on, but we manage. Kelkar Road stays busy from morning till night. You see all sorts of people walking by our windows. We don't really do much in the way of big advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here in the apartment building. The police chowki is a busy place too, so there is always some activity outside our door. Sometimes the rain in Pune makes the road a bit messy, but that doesn't stop anyone. We just keep the lights on and keep working through the day. It’s a simple setup we have here. Not much to look at from the outside, but we are always here doing our thing. It feels like a proper part of the local Narayan Peth life after all this time. We just focus on the daily tasks.
