Everest Electronics & Electricals is right there at Pimple Saudagar 1St Cross. It is a small shop, but we’ve managed to cram a lot of stuff into the shelves. You’ll find everything from rolls of wire to tiny capacitors and light bulbs all over the place. The counter is usually covered in stuff we are currently fixing, like a toaster or an old ceiling fan that someone brought in. Pimple Saudagar has grown a lot, so the street outside is always busy with people walking by or parking their scooters. We have a soldering iron that’s almost always hot and the smell of melting lead is just part of the atmosphere here. It’s a bit of a maze inside because we hate throwing away parts that might be useful later. We don't have a fancy display or bright neon lights. Most of our customers are just neighbors who need a fuse replaced or a new switch for their kitchen. The 1st Cross location is easy to find once you know the landmark, though the parking is always a headache. We spend a lot of time squinting at small circuits and trying to find where a connection went bad. It’s slow, careful work that requires a bit of patience. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town; we just like fixing things and keeping the lights on for the local folks who stop by.
