Essar Steel Ltd is based over at 408/17 Boat Club Road. If you are looking for us, we are in the City Tower building, which is a pretty tall landmark around here. The whole area is quite busy because of the Rathi Bazzar and the St Charasta intersection nearby. There is always a lot of movement on the streets, especially with people heading toward the bazzar to get their shopping done. Being in City Tower means we get a decent view of the surroundings, but mostly we are just focused on the tasks at hand inside the office. The address sounds a bit long when you say it out loud—408/17 Boat Club Road Rathi Bazzar St Charasta City Tower—but it’s not too hard to find once you get into the flow of the city traffic. We spend a lot of time here, through the heat and the rain. It’s a solid place to work from. There is a lot of history on Boat Club Road, and being part of that daily grind feels right. Sometimes the tea man comes around, and that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon for most of us. We don’t have any fancy decorations or anything like that, just the desks and the equipment we need to keep Essar Steel Ltd running. It’s a practical space for practical work, and we like being in the middle of everything near the bazzar. It feels like the heart of the city.
