Our work happens at Flat No 7 in the Anjaye Niwas building, which is right in the Baner area of Pune. The pin code is 411 045. Working out of a flat instead of a big office block makes things feel a bit more relaxed, though it can get a little crowded when we are all in at once. Ensigns Software Communications Pvt Ltd is basically us sitting at our desks, working on various software projects and keeping the communication lines open for our clients. The building is okay, nothing fancy, just a standard residential-style place turned into a workspace. Pune traffic is always a topic of conversation here, especially during the monsoon when the roads get messy. We spend a lot of our time on computers, as you might expect for a software company. It’s mostly about fixing bugs or trying to get the code to run right without crashing everything. We usually have lunch together in the small kitchen area or go out to one of the local spots nearby if we have the time. It’s a pretty quiet routine most weeks. We don’t have a big reception desk or anything polished like that. You just come up to the flat and knock. We just focus on getting the day's tasks finished so we can head home. Being in Maharashtra, we deal with the usual local stuff, but our main focus is just the software work on our screens.
