Engineer

We are based in the Kondhwa area of Pune. Our office is actually at Salunkhevihar, specifically in building D-16/2. It is the residence and workspace for Miss Durga A Deshmukh and the rest of us. Being in a residential complex like Salunkhevihar means it is a bit quieter than being right on the main road, which we appreciate when we need to focus on our engineering work. We have been here for a long time, and the place is filled with books, old project files, and various bits of equipment. It is definitely a lived-in space. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights outside. Most people who come here are regulars who know the way to D-16/2. The rooms are a bit cramped because we have so much stuff packed in, but it works for us. We have a small balcony where we sometimes go to get some air or have a quick break. Pune’s weather is usually nice, so we keep the windows open when we can. Working in Kondhwa is convenient because everything we need is close by. It’s a very personal way to run a business. We don't have a corporate structure or a bunch of managers; it is just a small team getting things done. We wake up, have our breakfast, and get straight to the drawings or the calculations. It’s a simple life focused on the work at hand.
