Empire Mobile

Empire Mobile is tucked away in Gujarat Colony, over in the Kothrud area. We are at number 88 21. It’s a small shop, mostly filled with glass cases and tools for fixing phones. We’ve been here for a few years now, serving the local crowd in this neighborhood. It’s not like those big shiny mobile stores you see in the malls. We are just a local spot where people bring their cracked screens or phones that won't turn on for some reason. The workspace is tiny, just a small bench in the back with a microscope and some soldering irons. It’s quiet work, requiring a lot of focus and steady hands most of the time. Sometimes we get parts delivered late, which is a bit frustrating, but we deal with it as it comes. We sell some covers and chargers too, mostly just the basics that people around here need. The neighborhood is nice and we know many of the regulars who walk past our door every day. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that people around here know we’re here if they drop their phone on the pavement. It’s a lot of small screws and delicate parts, which can be tiring on the eyes after a whole day. We just keep at it until the lights go out.
