Electronic Laboratories

We are located at number 10 in Gulve Vasti along Satara Road. Despite the name Electronic Laboratories, we are really just a practical repair and sales shop for gadgets and mobile phones. I have a couple of workbenches in the back where we take things apart to see why they stopped working. The front area is where we keep some of the spare parts and items for sale to the public. It’s a bit of a dusty place because of all the traffic on Satara Road, but we try to keep the equipment as clean as possible. I have been working with electronics for most of my life, so this shop was a natural thing to start when I moved here. We get a lot of people coming in with broken screens or water damage on their handsets. Sometimes we can fix them, sometimes we can't, and we tell people that straight away. There is no point in giving false hope to someone. My tools are old but they still work fine for what we do on a daily basis. It is a modest business and we don't have a big staff. Usually, it’s just me and one other guy who knows his way around a circuit board and a soldering iron. We are here most days from morning until late evening when the street gets quiet.
