Electra Enterprises

You can find Electra Enterprises at Ambegaon on Appu Rao Road, at house number 14. We are a small hardware and electrical supply business. The shop is packed with everything from light bulbs and switches to rolls of heavy-duty wire. We have wooden racks that go all the way up to the ceiling, and we often have to use a ladder to reach the stuff at the top. The floor is made of old tiles that have a few cracks here and there. We have a sturdy wooden table where we measure out lengths of wire for people. It is a very practical place. We don't have a lot of space for people to walk around because we try to keep as much stock as possible. The air in the shop usually smells a bit like plastic and metal. Appu Rao Road is a busy street, so there is always a lot of activity right outside our door. We open up early to catch the contractors before they go to their jobs. Most of our day is spent counting out small parts like screws or washers and putting them into paper bags. We have a small desk with a calculator and a ledger where we track everything. It is just a basic shop for the people living in Ambegaon. We don't do any big advertising; people just know we are here at number 14. It is a steady, quiet life running this place.
