Ecopack India

Ecopack India is over in Village Navlak Umbare. To get to our place, you have to head down Jadhavwadi Road, which is near the Talegaon Midc area. We are located on Plot No. 41. It is a rural spot with fields nearby, but the industrial zone is close enough that you see a lot of trucks passing by. Our building is basically a large shed where we handle all the packaging tasks. It is not a climate-controlled office or anything like that. The tin roof gets very loud when it rains, which happens a lot during the monsoon in Maval. We spend our days moving around heavy boxes and working on the machines. It is physical work and you definitely get your hands a bit dirty. There is a small office space for the paperwork, but it is usually covered in cardboard samples and dust. Most of the people who work here are from the surrounding villages. We do not have a marketing department or any polished brochures to show off. People mostly find out about us by word of mouth or because we are located near the other big factories. The road out here is not the best, especially when the potholes get deep after a storm. We just keep our heads down and try to get the orders out on the truck. It is a no-frills kind of operation. We focus on the daily grind and keeping the production line moving.
