Dy Patil Hospital

Dy Patil Hospital is located right by the Nerul Railway Station. It is a massive building, so you really can't miss it if you are getting off the train. Because we are so close to the station, there is always a lot of movement. People are coming and going at all hours. We have many floors and different departments for almost everything. It is a very busy environment. The lobby is usually crowded with families and people looking for directions. Our staff is always on their feet. It's not a quiet place, but it is a functional one. We have a lot of students here too, since it is a teaching hospital. You will see people in white coats everywhere. The elevators take a while because so many people use them. We have a large canteen that stays busy too. It’s a bit of a maze if you are visiting for the first time, but there are signs around. We don't try to look like a five-star hotel. It is a place for medicine, with tiled floors and metal stretchers. We handle a huge number of patients every single day. It can be a bit overwhelming for some, but it is just how a big hospital near a station works. We just keep things moving and try to help as many people as possible. It is a loud, bustling place but we get the job done.
