Durga Hotel

Durga Hotel sits right at J/41 Bhosari Indrayani Corner. We’ve been at this spot for a long time now. If you know the Bhosari area, you know it’s mostly factories and workshops. 411026 is a busy place to be. We open up the shutters early in the morning when the first shift of workers is heading in. It’s just a standard local hotel. The tables are old and the chairs might wobble a bit, but it’s ours. My uncle and I run the whole show. We do the cooking, the cleaning, and the serving ourselves. It gets quite loud during the lunch hour because of all the trucks passing by Indrayani Corner. Sometimes we run out of certain dishes if the morning crowd was bigger than we expected. That’s just how it goes here. We don't have a website or any fancy social media pages. People just see the sign at J/41 and walk in. The kitchen is small and gets very hot in the summer, but we are used to it by now. We focus on getting the food out quickly so people can get back to their work. 411026 is where we’ve made our living. It’s a straightforward place for anyone who needs a meal in the middle of a long workday. We don't try to be anything we aren't. Just a local spot at the corner where people can get some food.
