You can find Dr Karva Hospital right by the Dandekar Bridge, sitting next to the Parvati Petrol Pump. It’s a landmark that most people in the Parvati area know well. We’ve been here for quite some time, serving the local families and whoever else stops in. The hospital isn't a massive complex, but we have enough room to take care of the folks who come to us. Being next to a petrol pump means there’s always the sound of traffic and cars pulling in, but inside, we try to keep things calm for the patients. Dr Karva started this hospital to provide a place for general medical care without people having to travel too far into the city center. We don't use any fancy slogans or try to look like a corporate office. It’s just a hospital with doctors, nurses, and beds. Sometimes the hallways are a bit narrow, and we have to shuffle things around to make room, but we manage. We’ve seen a lot of kids grow up in this neighborhood and now they bring their own children here. It’s that kind of place. We focus on getting the diagnosis right and making sure people understand their treatment. We’re part of the furniture in Parvati now, just a regular hospital doing its bit every day. If you’re driving past the bridge, you’ll see our sign right there, even if the light on it flickers sometimes.
