Dr D Y Patil Dental College & Hospital

This is the dental college and hospital located on the D Y Patil University Campus in Pimpri. Since it’s a big campus, there are always students running around with their bags and white coats. We are situated just off the Pune Mumbai Road, which is a major highway, so there is always a lot of traffic nearby. The building is quite large compared to a regular clinic because it has to fit the classrooms and the hospital sections. It can be a bit confusing to find your way around the hallways at first if you aren't used to it. We have a lot of different departments all under one roof. The atmosphere is a mix of a school and a medical facility, so it’s never really quiet. You can hear the sounds of dental drills and people talking in the corridors all day long. We have been part of the Pimpri landscape for a long time, and the university campus is a big part of the local community. It’s not a cozy little shop; it’s a busy institution where a lot of learning and work happens at the same time. The equipment is what you’d expect for a place this size, and we go through a lot of supplies every week. It’s a massive operation, but we just focus on our specific area and keep things moving for the patients.
