Dinanath Mangeskar Hospital

If you know Karve Road, you know how crowded it gets near Nal Stop. That’s where we are, right at Alirbana. It’s a bit of a squeeze getting into the area sometimes because of the flyover and all the bikes. The hospital has been here for a bit now. It’s not a huge place, just a regular medical setup where we handle the usual daily cases. The interior is painted a sort of off-white color that we probably should have updated a few years ago. We have a lot of regular patients who come from the nearby apartments. They like that they can just walk over. I spend most of my day at the front or moving between rooms. The noise of the horns from Karve Road filters in, even with the windows shut. It’s just part of the atmosphere here. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. People mostly find out about Dinanath Mangeskar Hospital because they live nearby or their neighbor told them about it. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which is always a bit of a moment. We have a small pantry where someone is usually making tea. The benches in the lobby are okay, nothing special. It’s a busy spot in Pune and we’re just right in the middle of it all.
