Diamond Watch Company

Diamond Watch Company is situated at 1275, which is right opposite the post office and the Garware Bridge. We are also near the Deccan Gym and the Mithakhali Six Roads on Karve Road. This is one of the busiest spots you could find yourself in. There is always the sound of horns and buses shifting gears as they go over the bridge. Being opposite the post office is helpful because everyone knows where that is. The shop has been here for a long time, watching the city grow up around us. We have watches in the windows that have probably seen the sun rise and set for years. Inside, it’s a bit quieter than the street, but you can still feel the vibration of the heavy traffic. People come in when they are in a hurry, usually on their way to work or the gym. We do repairs right there behind the counter. It is honest work, fixing pins and replacing glass that got cracked. Karve Road never seems to sleep, so we stay pretty busy from the moment we pull up the shutters. The six roads junction is a bit of a mess sometimes, but it brings a lot of people past our door. We don't need to do much else. We just stay at our spot and keep the clocks ticking. It’s a landmark of sorts for the people who have lived in this part of town for decades.
