Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital Lodhivali

Located in B-21 and 22 within the Reliance Township at Lodhivali, this hospital is a major part of the Raigad district landscape. It’s a large facility, sitting right in the middle of the township area. We have people coming in from all over the district, not just the people who live in the township itself. The scale of the place is quite big compared to some of the smaller clinics around. We have different wings for different needs, and the corridors seem to go on forever. It’s always buzzing with activity, from the nurses changing shifts to the delivery trucks bringing in supplies. Because it's a township hospital, there’s a certain routine to how things work. The gardens outside are kept tidy, which is a nice change from the sterile feel of the wards. We see a lot of workers and their families. The emergency room is where things get the most hectic, especially being near the main transport routes. We just try to keep things organized and moving. There’s a lot of coordination needed between the different departments. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we just take it one shift at a time. The canteen is usually packed around lunchtime. It’s a big operation, but at the end of the day, it's just about taking care of whoever walks through the entrance. We've been part of this community in Lodhivali for quite some time now.
