Dharmadhikari Hospital

Our hospital sits inside the Nitin Heights building. We are right on the Pune Solapur Road in the Hadapsar area. That road is one of the busiest around here, so there is never a quiet moment with all the traffic. Being in Nitin Heights means we are part of a larger commercial building. The hospital is on one of the floors and we have several beds and a nursing station. The windows look out onto the highway, and you can see the cars moving all day long. It is a very practical space. We have the usual white tiles and bright lights you expect in a hospital. The staff room is small, just a table and some chairs where we eat our lunch. We get a lot of people from the Hadapsar neighborhood and also people who are just passing through on the Solapur road. Sometimes the elevator in the building is slow, so people take the stairs. We keep the medicine cabinets locked and the patient records in the office. It’s a busy place and we are usually on our feet most of the shift. We don't have a big fancy lobby with fountains or anything like that. It is just a straightforward hospital where we do our daily work and try to keep things organized for everyone who comes in.
