Arismatic Candles

We’ve been working out of our small space in Dhankawadi for a while now. It’s not a huge factory or anything like that, just a workshop where we spend most of our days dealing with wax and different kinds of molds. Usually, the first thing you notice when you walk in is the smell, which is actually quite nice, though after a few hours of working, you sort of stop noticing it. There’s always a bit of a mess on the workbenches because pouring wax isn't exactly the cleanest job in the world. We have bits of wick and dried drips all over the place. My hands are usually a bit waxy by lunch. We started Arismatic Candles because we liked making things by hand instead of just buying stuff from a big store. It’s just a few of us here. We don’t have fancy machines that do everything automatically, so it takes a bit of time to get things right. Sometimes a batch doesn't turn out perfect and we have to melt it all back down and start over. That can be frustrating, especially when it’s hot outside and the wax won't set right, but that’s just how it goes. The neighborhood knows us pretty well. People pop in to see what we are up to. It’s a simple setup. We aren't trying to change the world, just making sure the candles we put out are solid and do what they are supposed to do.
