Down at Plot No. 6/3 in S Panvelker Park, you’ll find our office for Dhampure Specialty Sugars Ltd. We are located in Silver Oak, specifically in room 205. It’s a decent spot, though finding parking can be a real headache some mornings if you don’t get here before nine. The building is usually quiet, which is nice when we have a lot of numbers to crunch or orders to sort out. We handle different kinds of specialty sugars, so there are always various samples sitting around on the shelves. Sometimes the smell of the sugar is quite strong, especially when a fresh batch of samples comes in from the plant. We spend most of our time on the phone or working through emails to make sure things get to where they need to go. It isn’t a massive operation here in the office, just a few of us making sure the logistics don't fall apart. The Silver Oak building has its quirks, like the elevator that sometimes takes forever to arrive. We just take the stairs if we’re in a hurry. Living and working around Panvelker Park means we see the same faces every day, which gives the place a bit of a neighborhood feel even though we are doing business. We just try to keep things moving along without too much fuss. It's a lot of paper shuffling and checking bags, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
